| Description | Polished stone axe apparently found in 1892; find spot (probably only approximate) originally established from one R.Patterson in 1950 (presumably by O.S. investigator) but could not be verified by O.S. in 1964 as Mr Patterson had left the area. The axe was held by the Bankfield Museum (acc. no. AH 494) at the time of the compilation of the O.S. record. |
