TitleCoin Hoard, Low Moor
Description1828 a labourer who was digging at Low Moor, Bradford, turned up a large quantity of ancient silver and copper coins. They all appeared to be of Roman origin (but some Greek and Egyptian.) They are principally of the Age of Julius Caesar and Augustus Caesar. (44 B.C. and 27 B.C. A.D.14.) Exact find spot unknown; grid ref. centred on Low Moor. Present location unknown.
