DescriptionFlints found behind the bandstand at Otley on a terrace at c. 200' O.D. The flints were seen during O.S. routine field investigation in 1961 and were all in the possession of E.T.Cowling at that time. Mr. Cowling also owned 11 further flints and 3rd. 4th. century Roman pottery found nearby at SE 2073 4620 by a Mr. G. Pritchard when a drainage pipe was laid in 1957 behind the bandstand, (bandstand is at SE 2063 4616).
