Description | Mill marked on the early Harewood estate maps and depicted on print of Gawthorpe Hall. Presumed manorial mill of Gawthorpe standing on stream to south west of site of Gawthorpe Hall. As such the site will have been abandonned (and maybe lost beneath the new lake) in the landscaping works of the late 18th. century. |
