TitleThe Mills, Mill Damm
DescriptionTwo field names, The Mills and Mill Damm, occur in 1698 in adjacent fields on the east bank of the River Wharfe in Weardley. A ford across the river is marked on 1st. edn. 6in. map (sheet 188) at SE 2962 4576 in the area called The Mills adding to the likelihood that a mill with associated weir once stood here, however there is no supporting documentation.
