TitleCastle Carr
DescriptionRoth (1906) states that a group of barrows at Castle Carr was illustrated as far back as 1842 in a lithograph by Carter, published by J.S.Stott, 22 July, 1842. These were probably destroyed in the building of Lower Dean Head reservoir. The O.S. investigator, R.W.Emsley obtained no further information during field investigation in 1960.
