Title | Creskeld Park |
Description | One of earliest documented water powered iron working sites. Site location uncertain but it lay in Creskeld Park and use of water power suggests it may have lain on stream which runs just to the west of Creskeld Hall (see however 19th. cent. field name 'Dam and Intake' at SE 2616 4445, 400m. to east (PRN 1446)). This area is much disturbed by railway embankments. |
