TitleRing ditch (cropmark)
DescriptionCropmark of small ring ditch, diameter estimated c. 12m., with either two or three possible pits internally. The pits are obscured somewhat and the ring ditch appears flattened on its west side by the 'chequerboard' cultivation pattern. The ring ditch is situated between the two ditches, and touches the eastern most ditch of a possible cursus (PRN 598) which runs south west to north east.
There is no discernible relationship with the complex of field ditches and lanes (PRN 597) covering the same area. Although classified as a round barrow, other possible interpretations should be borne in mind.
