Title	Chapel Wood
Description	No obvious relationship to any known chapel nor to 'Chapel Close' in Bowling (at SE 179 313 Tithe Award field 1164). Lies in open ground probably on West Bowling Golf Course and over the line of Bowling Tunnel; O.S. shows considerable disturbance in the area, apparently associated with the tunnel. Slight possibility that name is derived from some former chapel on this site but perhaps more likely to have been the property of some other nearby chapel.
