TitleTwo Iron Spearheads
DescriptionTwo iron spear heads found in 1926 when excavating for the intake works at Ferrybridge Power Station, 20 ft. from the bank of the Aire and at depth of 24 ft. Spearheads were well preserved, 18.5 ins. long, on display in Ferrybridge 'A' Power Station in 1963. The spears are thought to date from either the middle or late Saxon period.
