DescriptionGroup of 'park' names recorded in late 18th. century and which may therefore relate to the park associated with the new house at Harewood (rather than the park names (PRN 428) associated with the earlier manor house of Gawthorpe). Situated as 'Park' at SE 3125 4441; 'Cow Park' at SE 3202 4334 lying in area of Lodge Hills (PRN 1311); 'Horse Park' at SE 3230 4325 which lies on the site of Lofthouse (PRN 1440) and (like part of PRN 428) may indicate abandonment of this site before that date
