| Description | Group of three Mill names in immediate vicinity of mill marked on mod. O.S. 'Mill Close' at grid ref. cited, 'Mill Field' twice at SE 20444584 and SE 2049 4605 (old antiq. nos 4424054844 and 4424064095). Situated on south bank of R. Wharfe just to the north of Otley town centre. This may refer to the site of a medieval manorial mill. Some archaeological remains may be preserved in W end of curtilage of modern mill. |
