| Description | 2 querns, one found by Mr. Sydney Heron of Springside, Otley, in his garden, (purportedly dug up when house foundations laid c.1855), the other, the lower stone of a beehive quern, was found on a wall top by Paul Broadley, close to the find spot of the first quern. Refs. cited are to the first; the second, Clifton Villas, is at SE 1960 4489. (Note: grid ref. on old record card incorrect). |
