TitleBriar and Vine Cottage, Warmfield cum Heath
DescriptionBriar and Vine Cottage. Pair of 18th century cottages (now a single dwelling).

'Pair of cottages, now a single dwelling. Early C18. Coursed rubble, stone slate and pantile roof. 2 storeys. 2 cell plan with rear single storey outshut. All windows have mid C20 glazed casements. Doorway to left of 2 bays of windows in altered surrounds. Former wide central doorway (blocked). Raised verges with coping. Central brick ridge stack.
Rear: original outshut to rear of 1st cell has cat slide roof. Added outshut to left has lower roof.
Interior: each single cell has 2 chamfered spine beams stopped against the original fireplace (brick) with back to back flues. The division wall between the 2 cottages is said to be a timber framed close studded wall now plastered over. 2nd cell has door entry against the stone stair with original 2 panel deal door to store under stairs. Former timbered arcade to outshut'.
