TitleWarley Edge Farm, Warley
DescriptionWarley Edge Farm, Warley. 17th century stone house with 1633 date stone.

Warley Edge Farm was the subject of an archaleogical assessment by Colum Giles in 1980 as part of the WYAAS/RCHME Rural Houses Survey. The photographic image produced by the assessment is held by WYAAS. The brief fieldwork record card describes the house as built of well coursed gritstone masonry with the remains of recessed splayed mullion windows. Modern alterations include re used windows from Saltonstall. There is also a date stone of 1633, but, according to Giles, this is not very convincing (Giles, C. (WYAS/RCHME). 1980).
