The photographic image produced by the assessment is held by WYAAS. The brief fieldwork record card describes Warley Edge Close as a 17th century stone house of four narrow cells in a linear plan. The masonry looks late but all the windows date from the17th century with recessed splayed mullions. Although these may be reused (Giles, C (WYAS/RCHME). 1980).
