DescriptionBarn at Raw End, Warley. Double aisled barn, possibly early 18th century.

'Traditional stone barn with stone roof. Splayed jambs to entrance with stone lintel. Some timber posts internally. Probably aisled but interior not accessible. Additions to north east and north west'.

The house and barn at Raw End were the subject of an archaeological assessment by Colum Giles in 1980 as part of the WYAS/RCHME Rural Houses Survey. The photographic image produced by the assessment is held by WYAAS. For information regarding the house see PRN 13182. Giles briefly describes the barn single storey with four bays and double aisles. The through way has a short king post on collar to one side and a truncated king post on the other. The other truss has a king post and single 'V' brace (Giles, C. (WYAS/RCHME). 1980).
