The house and barn at Raw End were the subject of an archaeological assessment by Colum Giles in 1980 as part of the WYAS/RCHME Rural Houses Survey. The photographic image produced by the assessment is held by WYAAS. For information regarding the barn see PRN 13183. Giles briefly describes Raw End Farm as a stone house which is modern but with signs of an earlier one and a half storey house (Giles, C. (WYAS/RCHME). 1980). |
