TitleBarn at Old Riding, Warley
DescriptionBarn at Old Riding, Warley. Stone cased timber framed aisled barn of probable 17th century date.

The mid to late 17th century aisled house of Old Riding was the subject of an archaeological assessment by Colum Giles in 1980 as part of the WYAS/RCHME Rural Houses Survey [see PRN 13177]. The fieldwork report also provides a brief description of the adjacent barn:
'Just to the east of the house is an aisled barn; this is of stone today, but the structure reveals that the stone represent the casing of an earlier aisled barn of timber framed construction'.
(Giles, C. (WYAS/RCHME). 1980. 'Old Riding, Warley').
