Title | House at Low, Warley |
Description | House at Low, Warley. Late 18th century house. The three houses at Low were the subject of an archaeological assessment by Colum Giles in 1980 as part of the WYAAS/RCHME Rural Houses Survey. The house which is the subject of this record is included on the single photograph produced by this assessment. The image depicts two adjacent houses; the house associated with this record is interpreted as the larger house on the right hand side of the image (Giles, C. (WYAS/RCHME). 1980. Image held by WYAAS). The brief accompanying notes describe a three cell house of c.1780, interpreted as this house. The two other houses in the group are described as a two cell house which may be the smaller house to the left of the photograph and a laithe house which not depicted but is likely to be the laithe house on Low Lane to the immediate north (PRN 13147 and PRN 13149). |
