TitleAcre Mill (site of), Wadsworth
DescriptionAcre Mill (site of), Wadsworth. Cotton Mill constructed in 1859.

WYAAS archives hold a fieldwork record sheet completed by the Calder Civic Trust and the Hebden Bridge Local History Society in 1977 for a joint survey of buildings for proposed listing.
The mill was described as dating to 1859, was of five storeys with a tower. The mill also had offices with oriel windows. The survey sheet described the mill as of possible further interest.

The OS 25' 1st edition map of c.1894 describes acre mill as a cotton mill.

The mill persisted until the mid 20th century (OS 6' 4th edition. Sheet 230). Current mapping depict the mill as no longer extant. The site is undeveloped (OS Master Map 2011).
