Description | Lucy Caffyn visited 62 Crossley Street in 1982 as part of the Workers' Housing Survey. The following notes were made during the visit: Brick (English Garden Wall bond and occasional row of headers). Slate roof. Windows sash and stone cills, back voissiors. Doors and fanlight, back voissiors. Early 1960's bathroom and pantry and coal hole extension at rear (used to be next to stairs). 4 flues per house At front, rendered to height of 1m, decoration in brickwork at first floor level. Moulded skirting board to living room/kitchen and the 2 larger bedrooms. Originally a small pantry in the living room? Before extension, rear entry more central?
