| Description | Remnants of ridge and furrow at Primrose Primary School playing fields, Boston Spa. The ridge and furrow was excavated in 2001 by Dave Weldrake of WYAAS and local schoolchildren. The excavation showed that the ridge and furrow was of a probable early date with wide ridges. medieval and post medieval was also discovered.
The area of ridge and furrow is included on the Boston Spa Archaeology and Heritage Group's Heritage List which will be incorporated into the Boston Spa Parish Council's Neighbourhood Plan and identified for preservation. |
