Description | Methodist Sunday school built 1825, Southowram (SE 11365 23421). 'School, 1825. Hammer dressed stone, stone slate roof. Simple single storey building of 7 bays with plain stone surrounds to door and windows (glazing altered). Over door, in 3rd bay, is finely inscribed tablet reading: 'THIS SCHOOL IS BUILT by Subscription for Children of all Denominations. A.D. MDCCCXXV '' (English Heritage listed building description.
