DescriptionCemetery wall and gate piers associated with Armley Cemetery built in 1886 (SE 25612 34059).

'Cemetery wall and gate piers. 1886, altered C20. Ashlar, coursed gritstone, iron gates. Inner and outer gate piers: square section, approx 2.5m high, chamfered plinth and shaft, cornice brackets, stepped pyramid capstones with small trefoil panelled finials. Similar piers at intervals along the wall length. Walling approx 100m long overall, chamfered coping, railings missing. Included for group value. '
