Description | Sunday school, now hall. Built circa 1846 with later extension. Constructed of coursed squared sandstone with slate roof. Conforms to a rectangular plan with 4 bays, and a 5th added at the rear. Built in the Early English style. A buttressed gable to the road has a single storey cross gabled porch with 2 centred arched doorways in both side walls. To the left side blind, coupled lancets in the front, and coped gables; a single lancet each side of the porch, with hoodmoulds on foliated stops; above the porch a large hexafoiled circular window; a small louvred trefoil above this. Steeply pitched roof with gable coping and apex cross. Buttressed side walls, with coupled lancets. Extension to rear in similar style, with gable chimney. Text edited from English Heritage's National Heritage List. Adjacent to the Sunday School is Grade II Listed Trinity Church (PRN 12,135).
