| Description | Lawrence (1974. p.62) identifies Wilson and Haist's pottery as having being active in the 1790s. It is shown on the 1791 map of Hunslet by Johnson and Sedgwick. No record exists of what was produced there and the site was redeveloped after 1799 and no further record of the pottery exists after this (Lawrence, 1974. p.62). The current site (2013) is occupies by housing (Bing.2013). The site does not appear on the 1st edition 6' to 1 mile OS map sheet 218. |
