Title | Former Queen Street School |
Description | The former Queen Street School, which in 2009 became the Noah's Arc Community Centre, was originally built in the late 19th century. It is built of brick with a slate roof. In the 1990s the building served as the Normanton Council offices but a later change of use in June 2009 led to it becoming a childcare and community centre. WYAAS did not recommend any archaeological specifications as a part of this development. The former school is included in the Local Buildings List (2008) for Wakefield. |
