TitleGreave Head Mill
DescriptionGreave Head Mill is marked on the 1st edition map sheet 245, the site was visited in 1999 as part of the Pennine Settlement Survey.
This site is now part of a elaborate garden feature to Greaves Head House. On a site visit in 1999 there were no obvious signs of a mill building, however, a large ashlar block to the southeast of the dam may have indicated the position of a water wheel. The dam had been substantially rebuilt and remodelled which may have removed some archaeological evidence.
