TitleThe Grammar School, Healdfield Road
DescriptionThe Grammar School, Healdfield Road was built in 1906 and cost a total of £1400. It opened the doors to 450 pupils, and contained class rooms, an art room library and woodworking room. It is now known as Castleford High School and is included in the Local Buildings List (2008) for Wakefield.
The school is also identified by Castleford and District Historical Society as an important heritage asset and was put forward by them as a local site nomination in 2011.
