Description | Medieval lead decorated Spindle Whorl with central circular perforation. The object weighs 36.29g and has a diameter of 27.82mm. The overall shape is biconical but cones are truncated by the central perforation. The decoration is on both faces and consists of radiating ribs but is quite worn. Discovered by a metal detectorist about 01/05/2004. Diameter: 27.82mm, weight: 36.29g. PAS ref: SWYOR BAE0A3 |
