Description | A pair of 18th century, 2 storey, terrace cottages. Constructed of coursed, dressed stone (painted), and featuring hooped metal gutter stays. Each has a single vernacular form of Venetian window, having a flat head to the central, taller light and slab surrounds. Below are shop fronts, of early to mid 19th century, with pilasters supporting entablature including moulded cornice. The left hand one encloses a left hand door, the right hand one being less wide, with separate left hand door and right hand gimmel, blocked, with overlight. No 19 has a rear extension, under parallel roof span, with a similar Venetian window in the west end, on the ground floor, having Gothic glazing bars.
