TitleFormer Secondary School, Kensington Street
DescriptionFormer secondary school, dated c.1878 9, and built in the Tudor Revival style. Constructed of thin coursed stone, with ashlar dressings and a blue slate roof. 2 storeys with basement; 4 symmetrical bays to Kensington Street. Transom chamfered mullioned windows with above under separate gables, basket arched windows with Y tracery. Frontage to Goulbourne Street has 3 storey square tower with wide arched doorway with stair window over. Clockface in upper stage, openwork balustraded parapet (WYAS, 1993).
