TitleFormer Labour Exchange, Luton Street
DescriptionFormer Employment Exchange, dated 1934. Built of brick, with ashlar plinth and dressings and a green slate roof. Occupies corner site, and has a symmetrical arrangement of 3+1+3 bays with a central doorway on canted angle: ashlar architrave frieze and cornice; retains double panelled doors. Returns have semi circular arched windows set in recesses with apron, keystones and retaining original metal, small paned fanlight glazing. Above are square windows, with ashlar cornices (WYAS, 1994).
