Title | Greengate Farm Barn and Cottage |
Description | Barn and attached cottage (to the west) from the early 19th century. Built of irregular course stone and ashlar, with a stone slate roof. North elevation has mistal door to left with quoined lintel, and a basket arched east entry with three lunettes above. To the right is an external flight of stone steps to the cottage door which has a 2 light window, door under landing at ground floor. South front has square headed cart entry with stone clock face. The cottage has 2 light mullioned windows (WYAS, 1993). |
