TitleDrill Hall (T.A. Centre), Lawkeholme Lane
DescriptionDrill hall (now T.A. Centre) for 3rd and 4th Yorkshire Volunteers, built in the late 19th century. Constructed of rock faced stone and ashlar dressing, and now with a modern pantile roof. The large drill hall is surrounded by a 2 storey semi domestic building, which accommodates offices and mess and features crow stepped gables. The drill hall has segmental arched windows and doors with plain stone surrounds. A prominent building which may have an unusual roof structure spanning the large and wide hall (WYAS, 1993).
