TitleDixon Hill Farmhouse
DescriptionThis is a stone house of the late 17th century. It is of two storeys and faces south. The main front has the original windows, with cavetto mullions. Stone built (dressed at the front, otherwise rubble) with a stone slate roof. Other features include a central, 20th century, porch, dripmould, and corniced end stacks. Inside there are some retained oak ceiling beams.
In later years an outshut was added to the rear of the house to provide a cellar cut into the hillside. 19th century alterations include the blocking if the original entrance, and cutting of a new door of the house housebody window, and the insertion of a new stair.
