TitleNos. 46-52 Church Street
DescriptionFour shops with upper floor accommodation, dated c.1820 and built of coursed sandstone, with a stone slate roof.
Nos. 46 and 48 have 4 bays of windows to the first and second floor. No. 48 retains part of its original shop window with pilasters and finely carved wooden consoles. First floor has 4 paned sashes set in projecting plain stone surrounds, whilst second floor windows have segmental heads. Richly bracketed eaves cornice. Right hand return has a taking in door with hoist to 2nd floor.
Nos. 50 and 52 are of two floors and retain their original timber shop fronts, with carved consoles and casement moulded cornice, and have canopies. The upper floor has a single 4 paned sash with projecting plain stone surround. Gutter brackets, and a central chimney stack to ridge.
