TitleFormer Congregation Church, Brown Street
DescriptionFormer Congregational Church, dated 1882; built of coursed sandstone, with ashlar dressings and a stone slate roof. Single 3 bay gable fronted chapel with a central doorway featuring quoined jambs and overlight; sill band to each floor. Central first floor 2 light window has an arch over it in which is set a plaque engraved: ‘Erected in remembrance of the late John Brigg of Guard House, by his Children A.D. 1882’. Coped gable with chimney; 5 bay returns.
