Description | Row of three shop, with first floor apartments, dating from the mid 19th century. Built of coursed stone (painted), timber shop fronts and stone slate roofs. Each shop retains part of original shop front: original door set within recess (to the right hand side), panelled pilasters with fluted brackets supporting triangular pediments. At first floor level, all dwellings have a single window with projecting sill; one paned sash survives. Paired gutter brackets; single ridge stack (WYAS, 1993). |
