TitleNos. 2, 3 and 4, France Fold
DescriptionNos. 2, 3 and 4 France Fold make up a terrace dating to the late 18th century. It is built of hammer dressed stone with quoins to the east and a stone slate roof. The south east elevation has 3 original doorways with deep lintels and tie stone jambs The ground floor windows are mainly altered, though No. 3 has one 4 light stone mullioned window with 2 mullions removed. The ast floor comprises 2 2 light flat faced stone mullioned windows on each dwelling. Nos. 2 and 3 formerly had 6 or 7 light windows.
In 1990, P. H. Thornborrow (WYAS) submitted comments on a proposal to rebuild the front elevation of No. 3, with the facade to be rebuilt with the original stone.
