DescriptionThe site of the farmstead known as 'Rough' was visted in 1999 as part of the Pennine Settlement Survey.
The site has been demolished and is overgrown, although some walls remain standing up to a height of c.1m. The structure was originally a small 3 cell building, with a 2 cell animal shelter added to the northeast elevation.
The structure appears to have no domestic usage and is possibly a field barn or animal shelter dating from the 19th century.
