TitleHaw Hill Ancient Earthworks, Haw Hill Park
DescriptionHaw Hill Ancient Earthworks are located in Haw Hill Park and take the form of a circular mound. It is unclear when these earthworks were established although the 1st edition OS map shows a much larger area defined by a surrounding slope. There is a suggestion that the earthworks may form the remains of a Norman motte. The earthworks are included in the Local Buildings List (2008) for Wakefield.
