Title | Ford Across North Beck, Beck Street |
Description | Ford, possible medieval in origin, although construction material probably date from the 18th century. It bridges the river towards the Parish church, and links two equally old cobbled lanes. At its southern side it has tapered edges with ashlar coping, funnelling small cobblestones into the river, which is paved with larger stones (WYAS, 1993). |
