Description | Factory, built c.1935/36. Constructed of coursed sandstone, ashlar, concrete and steel roof trusses. Occupies corner site (entrance to Beck St), features tall doors set in shaped concrete architrave (cut as ashlar) parapet band. Tall side windows on right hand return; symmetrical elevation to South Street. Three tall multi paned windows with concrete pilasters and architrave, smaller flanking side windows. A stylish building of its period; largely unaltered (WYAS, 1994). |
