Title | Circular pond with fountain, approx. 50m south of Bramham Park house |
Description | This circular pond with a fountain is situated approximately 50 metres south of Bramham Park house (PRN 8610), on the east side of the terrace. It was probably built in the 18th century from magnesian limestone and a composition stone (possibly Coade stone – English Heritage, 1986). The pond is approximately three metres in diameter, with a moulded rim. In the centre is a fountain (of composite material) about one metre high, in the form of a vase pedestal, with three fishes twined about it. |
