Description | This is a late 17th century stone farmhouse with late 18th century rebuilding. It has a stone slate roof and is two storeys high. It has three first floor windows with a rear outshut. The ground floor, from left to right, has a two light flat faced mullion window; an 18th century gabled porch with pointed side lights; and a four light, now two light, chamfered mullion window in a splayed reveal window. These are all under a continuous dripmould. The first floor has a single light window, and two former three light flat faced mullion windows each with one light blocked. The house has kneelers and coping, and end stacks, the left of which is external with offsets. There is a small segmental arched gateway in the rubble wall that continues the elevation to the left. The rear has quoins, and two light chamfered mullion windows, some of which have been altered to single lights. |
