Title | 108-110 Thornton Road |
Description | These buildings are described as wool warehouses that were built in 1911. There is no other description of the buildings in the folder. Looking at OS maps, a date of 1911 would fit as the maps of 1850, 1891 and 1906 all have buildings on the site but they are of different proportions to those that are there currently on the WYAAS GIS (21/05/2008). The buildings do seem to be present on the OS map of 1932 4 though. In 2003 planning permission was requested for the conversion of the buildings into 20 self contained flats and basement car parking. In 2004 planning permission was granted, but it is not known whether the work has since been carried out. |
