TitleManningham Library
DescriptionThis City of Bradford Branch Library in Manningham was built in 1908 and was designed by the City Architect F E R Edwards for Bradford City Council. It is built of snecked sandstone, with ashlar dressings and has a Westmorland green slate roof. The rear and east elevations are rendered. It is two storeys high and was built in an Edwardian ‘Jacobethan’ style. Alterations to the building took place in the 1970s. This library is unusual in the fact that it incorporated a children’s section from the start.
