Title | Beeston Old Hall |
Description | Beeston Old Hall has now been demolished (WYAAS GIS, 17/03/2008), but was originally built in the 13th century by Ralph Beeston. It was formerly a single storey high, and a second storey was added in the early 17th century. Prior to its demolition, it was possible to see buttresses placed on the end of the building that were there to support the older portion (Yorkshire Evening Post, 06/03/1929). |
